I appreciate it when I get news from the artists I play on my shows. Uncle Seth is one of the bands that really gets the potential of podcasting/blogging as a marketing channel, and I am more than happy to pass along notices they send me. If you are going to be at PodCamp in Toronto, then stop in and give these musicians your support!
Thanks again to Uncle Seth for keeping me in the loop!
Uncle Seth are EXTREMELY excited to present a special showcase in association
with PodCamp Toronto this coming Saturday.
PodCamp is an "unconference", a free event for those interested in
podcasting, blogging, new media and social networking online. We were very
happy to be a part of the very first PodCamp in Boston last year, it was an
AMAZING time! For more information visit http://podcamptoronto.org - PodCamp
is a totally FREE event, you just have to register online.

Doors at 9 pm. This is a FREE show, get there early for best seats!
In other news, we are very proud to be a part of Coverville Idol! Coverville,
as you may know, is the fantastic all cover song podcast hosted by the very
excellent Brian Ibbott. Coverville Idol gives musicians the opportunity to
submit cover songs on a certain theme. This time out the theme was all songs
from 1973. To that end Tara and I recorded a stripped down version of the
Emerson, Lake & Palmer ballad "Still... You Turn Me On" which Brian kindly
included in the show. Check it out along with the other entries:
Much like the American & Canadian Idol shows, there are judges but the real
decision makers are YOU the fans! So please check out the show and cast your
votes. Obviously we'd love for you to vote for us, but there are some other
good competitors worthy of your attention so check them out as well.
Voting and individual song downloads are on the Coverville site at:
