This week on So You Think You Can Dance the Top 12 presented two different dance numbers and talked about how they will miss their partner when the couples are split up next week.
As usual, Michael and I talk about whose numbers we liked and whose we didn't. Oh, and Michael makes history on this podcast. How? You gotta listen to find out!

In this episode, I am making some changes to the way I record: I'm challenging myself to grow by no longer using a pre-recorded intro and outro.
For this episode, I discuss an article I read on TheAtlantic.com in which the author asserts that a branch of Christianity known as "Prosperity Theology" contributed in large part to the housing market collapse. I relate this to a personal experience in which I currently find myself. Here's the link to the article, which I invite everybody to read and decide for themselves: http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200912/rosin-prosperity-gospel Music Today:

Michael and I are back for our first performance review of Season 6.
We got lost in reminiscing about our how we got started dancing that we forgot to pick our prediction for the guy and girl going home, but we did manage to name our bottom three. We'll see how well we did on the results show tonight!

For this episode, I focus on the Charter for Compassion--the result of more than a year's work and the brainchild of TED Prize winner Karen Armstrong.
Join me as I read and invite everyone to visit charterforcompassion.org Also, don't forget that anybody who listens is invited to do an episode of "David's Salon" with me. Just have a topic--any topic--and get in touch with me to set up a recording time. Music Today:

The So You Think You Can Dance Update is back for Season 6!
The show had a bumpy start this season, what with it bumping up against the World Series. The result was that America did not get its chance to vote until the Top 16 level. But, now that America has the vote, I am back with co-host Michael Sage to give you our impressions of how Season 5 ended, how Season 6 is going, and our "wish list" for the remainder of Season 6 (wait until you hear what we want to see Ryan do...). Join Michael and me as we count down to the next crowning of America's Favorite Dancer!

I catch up my regular listeners on what has been happening for the last few weeks. This is the first That Blue Jeans Guy that I have done on the Mac and with the new mixer, and I'm still getting some things figured out. Please tell me what you think about the sound quality.
I talk about the disappointing loss for same-sex marriage in Maine, and how we can handle this in a way that those who oppose us will not be expecting. It will make a difference if we do not allow ourselves to be dragged down by this occasion. For my fellow SYTYCD fans, just a quick reminder that the So You Think You Can Dance Updates with Michael Sage will resume next week when America gets the vote. Michael and I look forward to bringing you our take on all the dancing! Also, don't forget that anybody who listens is invited to do an episode of "David's Salon" with me.
