This week, it was announced that a vaccine has shown 31% effectiveness at preventing HIV infection. It's not perfect, but it does provide hope for many out there.

I also talk about the joys of social media and how much I love the fact that one of my all-time favorite teachers just became a Facebook friend. (The other all-time favorite one already was!)
