I found out that Jeri Sager, a former Broadway actress and a person who I had the privilege of calling a friend is about to release her third album and is performing all over the world.
You go, girl! Check out JeriSager.com to see video, hear album previews, and--of course--order her music (she is an indie artist, after all!) I also mark the passing of Senator Edward M. Kennedy, and how we can serve his legacy. Music Today:

I'm so excited to forward this information to all of my blog readers.
This musical has a great feel to it, and I know in advance it will be good. Both Cassandra Kubinski and Brother Love have had music played on my show many different times, and if I can get permission to play the music in my show, I'll feature something on a future episode. In the meantime, please support this movie in whatever way you can. Way to go, everybody! Dear Friends

The video for Phil Putnam's song "I'm No Prize" is currently #1 on MTV's Logo Channel. You really do want to see this video, I assure you...
I had a completely unexpected and completely exciting development in my quest to be at the podcaster get-together at next year's Gay Days. I decided to put aside the politics this week and share some great new music I found, as well as some older and newer favorites by guests on shows past. Thanks again always for your support and for supporting these great independent musicians. Music Today:

Life has been good, and things are looking up.
A Facebook discussion with a high school friend and ordained minister inspired me to talk about whether Jesus would be for or against national health care. Even if you are not of a religious persuasion, you owe it to yourself to consider what may be a significant portion of the pushback against health care reform. Music Today:

A native of Midland, Michigan, Joe has made his name in LA and London on the stage, and his debut album will drop on August 11, 2009. Oh, and did I mention he can also give you financial advice? Listen in as Joe and I get together to discuss his life and his debut album. I tried to scoop TMZ on any of Joe's "dirty little secrets," but alas, he's pure as the driven snow. Check out Joe's music on his site at JoeSettineri.com, and purchase it through iTunes, Amazon.com, and LMLMusic.com. Thanks in advance for supporting one of the "good guys."

Despite some Skype issues and a flyover by a helicopter, we give our predictions for who we think will be crowned "America's Favorite Dancer." Here's the link to the site that Michael plugged in the show. Give Jamie some podlove for his heroic efforts: http://jamiesadventuretomalawi.blogspot.com Be sure to watch the RSS feed for possible other content centering around Season 5, and don't forget we'll be back for Season 6. See you then!
