I had a blast doing my first live show, and I hope to do more in the future. Thanks again to Adam and Matty of "The Adam and Matty Show" and Daniel Brewer of "Dubious Intent" for coming up with the concept and seeing it through to completion. Music Today:

Michael and I get opinionated about the Top 16 week. We don't always agree on what we liked and didn't like, but we always have fun discussing our favorite reality program. We would also like for everybody to give us feedback and comments. Please post on the blog at http://thatbluejeansguy.libsyn.com or call 206-984-0329 or email the show at thatbluejeansguy@gmail.com. Thanks for listening!

Due to some issues in both our lives, we were unable to record until after the results were announced, so we will instead discuss the highlights of the performances, our opinions of the results, Michael's intense love of Brian Friedman, and a few other things.
Thanks to MJ's Big Blog for coming to my rescue when my recorder missed the performance show!

Due to unforseen circumstances on both mine and Michael's part, we were unable to record the So You Think You Can Dance Update after the performance episodes. If all goes well, we will be able to record a recap show featuring the results.
Thank you for your understanding. David-That Blue Jeans Guy

I'm in a better mood this week, although quite tired from work and a few other challenging situations.
I talk about how great it is when podsafe musicians keep in touch, and debut a new artist. And, of course, I talk about the healthcare debate and how important it really is. Music Today:

In this first of many updates, Michael and I critique the dancers, the costumes, Cat's horrible dress, Mary's screams, and so much more.
The Hot Tamale Train has left the station!

Without a doubt, this is the most amazing endorsement of the show to date:
From Dave Mora on Twitter: DaveMoraWhile taking my Quantum Mechanics test I was listening 2 http://snurl.com/jqz15 and I got 100% thanks @BlueJeansGuy n @michaelsage :) Thanks, Dave! I always hoped my podcast would help people, but I never envisioned it helping somebody pass a quantum mechanics test. Gotta be a first time for everything, I guess...

As has been previously (and frequently) announced, the So You Think You Can Dance Update is new and improved for Season 5.
Professional photographer, former dancer and choreographer Michael Sage will lend his experience and expertise to take this show to the next level. In this episode, Michael introduces himself to the rest of the world, and we discuss at length the auditions, the judges, and the Top 20. I'm looking forward to working with Michael as we count down the weeks until America crowns its next "Most Favorite Dancer."
