My friend Heidi Bethune, a local independent musician, our church's music minister, and a frequent musical contrbutor to the show has been in the hospital for the last few days. The doctors think it is something to do with her pancreas, but I am told she is experiencing a high fever and swelling, which is complicating medical tests.

I am asking everybody out there to hold Heidi in the Light of Spirit, knowing that her right and perfect condition is total health and balance in her body. Heidi is a Child of God, as we all are, and she is heiress to all the Good that God is. Support her as she claims her perfect healing.

I'm so happy that Democrats are in charge of Congress, Michigan's Democratic governor has been given a second term, Michigan's House of Representatives has been given a Democratic majority and the Republican majority in the Michigan Senate is smaller.

Many thanks to everybody who voted for change!

I offer some advice to the incoming Congress on what to do to avoid re-creating the disaster after the 1994 Republican takeover and my wishlist for the imporant issues that need to be addressed.
