Thu, 8 October 2009 On November 12, 2009, the Charter for Compassion will be unveiled to the world at large. The Charter is the result of a year of discussion, friendly debate, and careful consideration of the one core concept all religions and cultures have in common: the Golden Rule. Far from a religious document--which often leads to more division, the Charter is designed to unite us all and remind us of what is most important: treating others as we wish to be treated. I am in the process of planning some kind of event to mark the unveiling of the Charter. Once I know what this event will be, I will announce it on the blog. In the meantime, I invite you to view the trailer for the unveiling of the Charter, and then visiting the Charter's site: charterforcompassion.org Peace, David CHARTER FOR COMPASSION TRAILER from TED Prize on Vimeo.
